Bits and Bobs
Ahamdulillah I'm still here in Algiers, Algeria, and love it more as the time goes. Its not perfect alhamdulillah but neither am I so even more alhamdulillah.
Kids are bigger, two are in school mashaAllah and the last one has another year at home with me before going to pre-school inshaAllah.
I spent Ramdhan here this year and truly appreciated and loved it alhamdulillah. We didnt do the normal but forged our own way mashaAllah. We had shourba and bouraq some days and even managed a pot of rice once or twice alhamdulillah. Our dd (eldest) attempted to fast with us and the boys got to understand a bit about fasting mashaAllah.
We hung out at the masjid doing quran with other sisters and young ladies just like us and it was emotionally uplifting and very rewarding alhamdulillah.
I even got to pray taraweh at the masjid once this year and inshaAllah hope to do more next year.
